How Sightline Windows & Doors West Palm Beach Was Born in West Palm Beach
We opened this branch in West Palm Beach in 2012, the same year the parent brand started. The glazier who founded Sightline had already spent a decade watching homeowners get burned by the gap between a showroom quote and the final invoice. We saw it too, right here in Palm Beach County. A homeowner in Westgate called us after another company had measured her lanai enclosure wrong, ordered the wrong jamb depth, and tried to charge her double to reorder. She had a quote on a napkin and a hole in her wall. That was the afternoon we decided this market needed the Haven Standard. We promised her, and we promised ourselves, that every job in West Palm Beach would start with a measured survey the customer keeps, so the number cannot move between the showroom and the install. That is still Clause 1.
Sonia Raman’s Personal Connection to the Windows & Doors Trade
I did not plan to spend my life thinking about sightlines. I planned to be an architect. I was the kid who measured every room I walked into, who noticed how light fell differently through old single-pane glass versus a proper low-E coated unit. In college I worked summers for a glass contractor in Fort Lauderdale, mostly carrying samples and learning to read a tape measure in 16ths without hesitating. The first time I helped install a full-frame replacement in a 1950s Florida ranch, I remember the smell of old aluminum oxidizing as we cut it out, the way the house seemed to exhale when the new unit went in plumb, and the homeowner standing in her kitchen afterward saying she could finally see her oak tree without the fog between the panes.
That is the moment I chase. Not the sale. The moment someone stands in their own room and sees it differently. I have been doing this work for over 14 years now, and I still walk every finished job before we leave. I check the sightline, the visible edge of glass inside the frame, because that is what the customer is actually buying. The view, not the frame.
If I were not doing this, I would probably be restoring old boats in Lake Worth. The patience is the same: measure twice, cut once, stand back and look at what the light does now.
Meet Sonia Raman - The Person Behind Every Job

Sonia Raman, Owner and Founder of Sightline Windows & Doors West Palm Beach. I trained under a journeyman glazier who taught me that the tape measure does not lie, but the person holding it can hurry. I hold a Florida state license for window and door installation, and every pro working under our name is required to hold the license and insurance their state requires. I personally review every measured survey before it becomes a quote, because Clause 1 of the Haven Standard is the whole point: the price is flat, written, and agreed before anyone starts.
I live in Royal Palm Beach with my family. On weekends I run the bridge at the local community garden in Greenacres, the one behind the library. The commitment is the same in both places: show up, do what you said you would do, leave it better than you found it. When you call (561) 354-3861, you will reach a live coordinator who connects you with our local team. I am never more than one conversation away from any job we do in West Palm Beach, Lake Park, North Palm Beach, or anywhere in our service area.
Before
AfterOur Promise to West Palm Beach Homeowners
We operate under the Haven Standard, five clauses that govern every job we touch.
Have it in writing. Every quote is a measured survey you keep. The price does not move. We learned this the hard way in our first year, when a supplier changed a spec and we ate the difference rather than pass it to the customer. Now the written scope is sacred.
Arrive on schedule. We give you a real window, a named technician, and a text when they are on the way. Not “sometime Tuesday.” 10:00 to 12:00. Marco. You will know him before he knocks.
Verified crews. License, insurance, background check. License number on the page. We do not send strangers into your home.
Evidence on every job. Photos and readings of what we actually found. The moisture meter reading at the sill. The gap between the rough opening and the frame. You see what we saw.
No surprises. No door upsell. No scope creep. No “while we are in here.” The price we wrote is the price you pay.
Our Credentials

State-licensed window and door contractor in Florida. We do not display our license number online for security reasons, but we provide it in writing with every quote.
Insured and bonded. Every pro working under our name carries the coverage their state requires, and our general liability protects your property while we are on it.
Years of local experience. We have been serving West Palm Beach and the surrounding communities since 2012. That is 14 years of learning how Florida’s salt air, afternoon thunderstorms, and hurricane code cycles affect every installation decision we make.
Strong local reputation. We are independently owned and operated, and our business depends on neighbors telling neighbors the truth about what happened when we worked in their home.
These credentials matter because you are not buying a window from a warehouse. You are letting someone cut a hole in your wall. The license means we have passed the state’s technical exam. The insurance means your home is protected if something goes wrong. The local tenure means we know which Palm Beach County inspectors will flag a missed Miami-Dade notice of acceptance, and which ECO Window Systems products carry the HVHZ rating you need for coastal zones. The reputation means we have to be good enough that you would recommend us to the person who lives next door.
Rooted in West Palm Beach
Our trucks leave from a yard near 45th Street, and our first job most mornings is somewhere between Westgate and Lake Worth. We have measured windows in The Acreage where the horse flies followed us inside, and in Palm Beach Gardens where the HOA required exact muntin bar spacing. We source from suppliers who know our market: CWS for impact-rated vinyl, ES Windows for aluminum storefront systems, Mr-Glass when a custom tempered unit has to be right the first time. We are not pretending to be from somewhere else. This is our license, our crew, our neighbors. The Haven Standard is what we agree to work to, the documentation system that proves it, and the buying power that keeps our prices honest.
