Sonia Raman built this team on the Haven Standard, and that means the person who measures your opening is accountable for how it finishes. These are the people who answer our phones, pull your permits, and sign off on the photo record you receive.

Sonia Raman, Owner

I started Sightline in 2012 after watching a homeowner in West Palm Beach get three different quotes for the same window count, none of them itemized. That still happens. I keep the measurement and the quote on the same document, Haven Clause 1, because I made that mistake early: once gave a verbal range that turned into a fight when the frame needed sistering. Now every customer keeps their measured survey, and I review every written scope before it goes out. I live in Palm Beach County, and I still drive to jobs when a sightline measurement doesn’t match the photo record. My certification is NFRC Certified Products Specialist, which matters when you’re comparing U-factor and SHGC across eight manufacturer lines in Florida’s climate zone.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been with us seven years, and he runs the install crews across West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, and down to Boynton Beach. He’s AAMA Certified InstallationMaster, which is the credential that actually tests for flashing integration and drainage plane continuity, not just “can you caulk.” Marcus specializes in impact-rated retrofits in older homes, the ones with out-of-square block openings and no nailing fin access. He keeps a collection of failed seal photos from jobs he’s inspected, not to scare anyone, but to show homeowners what water intrusion looks like before it stains the drywall. Off days, he’s restoring a 1978 Chevy Nova in his garage in Riviera Beach, which he says taught him more about patience than any window install.

He’s been with Sightline since 2019, and he knows which inspector covers which zone, which matters when you’re trying to pass rough-in on a Friday in West Palm Beach proper versus the unincorporated pockets near Lantana. Darnell tracks our callback rate, and he’s the reason it’s under two percent. He coaches youth basketball at Gaines Park, and he says the only difference between a good install and a bad one is whether you prepared for the pressure before it arrived.

Ana R., Apprentice Installer

Ana joined us in 2023 after completing the construction program at Palm Beach State College. She’s working through her AAMA certification now, and she shadows Marcus on every impact window retrofit until she can demonstrate proper shimming sequence and fastener spacing without prompting. Ana’s specialty so far is energy-efficient window replacement in post-war concrete block homes, the ones with steel casement originals that have to be cut out carefully. She documents every job with the photo record protocol, and she’s already caught two measurement discrepancies that would have cost a reorder. Ana grew up in the Acreage and still lives there with her grandmother, which is why she pushes for low-SHGC glazing on west-facing installs, she’s seen what August sun does to a room with no tree cover.
